Kerala Govt Employee Suspended For Sharing CM’s Video; Check Details
Thiruvananthapuram: An attendant of Kerala’s General Administration department has been suspended. His fault — sharing a viral video of chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan dressed in shirt and trousers, reported IANS.
The CM, who generally wears the traditional dhoti and shirt in Kerala and while travelling within India, is seen in a white shirt and black pants as he comes out of the Dubai airport.
A Manikuttan shared the video in a WhatsApp group comprising government attendants employed in the state secretariat, without realizing the consequences.
He was served a suspension order which said he had tarnished the chief minister’s image.
Vijayan, who had gone to the US for treatment, will reportedly spend a few days in Dubai before returning to Kerala.
