Khurda Reports 3 More COVID-19 Deaths, Odisha Toll Rises To 492
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 492 on Monday with 10 more patients succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
1. A 56-year-old male from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension and Post-Angioplasty Status.
2. A 48-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
3. A 43-year-old male from Kandhamal who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes and Hypertension.
4. A 58-year-old male from Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
5. A 42-year-old male from Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Hepatitis B and Typhoid.
6. A 60-year-old female from Khurda district.
7. A 60-year-old female from Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
8. A 73-year-old male from Nayagarh district.
9. A 54-year-old male from Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
10. A 71-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
With these 10 new casualties, the virus has so far claimed 190 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 65 in Khurda, 36 in Sundargarh, 31 in Cuttack, 24 in Rayagada, 18 in Gajapati, 14 in Sambalpur, 13 each in Puri and Nayagarh, 11 in Balasore, nine each in Kandhamal and Bargarh, eight in Bhadrak, seven in Malkangiri , six each in Jajpur and Keonjhar, five in Balangir, four in Angul, three each in Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Kendrapada, two each in Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi and one in Jharsuguda.
