Bhubaneswar: All three schools under the KIIT Group of Institutions – KiiT International School (KiiT-IS), Bhubaneswar, Kalinga English Medium School in Kalarabanka, and Delhi branch of KISS, KISS-Delhi – scored well in Class X and Class XII CBSE board examinations.
KiiT-IS student Sneha Nayak emerged as the Odisha topper in humanities with 98.4 per cent marks, a KIIT release said on Sunday.
The Founder of KIIT and KISS Dr Achyuta Samanta on Saturday visited the school and congratulated the students for the good results. He also distributed sweets among the students and teachers.
Kalinga English Medium School in Kalarabanka, which caters to students from remote rural areas, has posted cent per cent results with majority scoring first division this year. KISS-Delhi, which helps underprivileged urban poor students from Delhi and NCR, also continued to put up a solid performances in its third year with cent per cent result. Samanta congratulated the students, staff, and the leadership of the schools for the success.
“These three CBSE schools cater to students from different categories of society and I am proud of the overall performance in the examination,” he said.
The schools have been providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds, and the results reflect the hard work put in by the students, teachers, and staff, the release added.
