Bhubaneswar: The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has extended accreditation to three diploma engineering programmes of KIIT Polytechnic in Bhubaneswar.
The accreditation certifies the institutional activities, structure and achievement towards attaining desired outcomes. A 6-member team of experts from NBA visited the KIIT Polytechnic during in November last year and assessed several criteria. Those included teaching, learning, faculty contribution, student progression, infrastructure and governance, according to a KIIT release.
Founder of KIIT-KISS and KIIT Polytechnic Achyuta Samanta has congratulated the students and staff on the achievement. “It is a big achievement for the institute. The accreditation comes at a time when KIIT is holding its silver jubilee celebration,” he said.
In August 2022, KIIT Polytechnic was awarded top rank among all government and private polytechnics of the state by QCI & SCTE & VT. KIIT Polytechnic was established in 1995.
