Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) student Jayanti Rohan won the Cluster 21 Finals of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2023.
The Cluster 21 Finals, representing the Jharkhand region, saw power-packed performances from all participants.
The winner earned a cash prize of Rs 35,000 and secured a spot in the Zonal Finals.
Shibalik Dhara, also from KIIT, emerged as the runner-up and pocketed Rs 18,000.
The popular business quiz was divided into 24 clusters this year. After two levels of online prelims, the top 12 from each cluster have been shortlisted for the Wild Card Finals out of which top 6 finalists will compete in the 24 online Cluster Finals. These 24 clusters are further grouped into four zones — south, east, west and north – with each zone comprising of 6 clusters.
The Zonal Finals are being held online, while the National Finals will be held in a physical format.
Cluster winners and runners-up will receive cash prizes of Rs 35,000 and Rs 18,000, respectively. The top two scorers from four Zonal Finals will advance to the National Finals.
The National Finals will feature 8 finalists, with the National champion receiving Rs 2.5 lakh and the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy.
This year’s National winner and top two scorers at the National Finals will also get an opportunity to win an internship with Tata Group.
Renowned quizmaster and Tata Crucible veteran Giri Balasubramaniam will serve as the quizmaster for this edition, accompanied by co-host Rashmi Furtado.
