New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) conferred Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) with ‘Leadership Award’ at a special function in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu handed over the award to KIIT & KISS founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta in the presence of Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram.
The institute got the award, which carries a citation, medal and shawl, for its services in the field of education for Scheduled Tribes.
Dr. Samanta describe it as a rare achievement and dedicated the award to all teachers, staff and students of KISS.
