Jaipur: Famous monuments and museums in Rajasthan, like Hawa Mahal, can now be visited to shoot wedding videos, but at a cost.
The charges?
You have to shell out Rs 5,000 for 2 hours for pre and post-wedding shoots during office hours, while the cost will be Rs 15,000 per hour during pre and post-office hours, according to Prakash Chandra Sharma, director of art, literature, culture and archeology department.
Hawa Mahal apart, the monuments where wedding shoots will be allowed include Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh, Vidhyadhar Garden, Sisodiya Garden.
The Rajasthan Monuments Arch sites and Act Rules 1968 had to be amended for the order to be passed through a gazette notification.
Earlier, only still photography was permitted at these monuments and museums.
