Bhubaneswar: Sixty five persons in Odisha tested corona positive on Saturday, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases in the district to 737.
According to the sources, two persons from Mayurbhanj, four from Kendrapara and two from Nayagarh have travel history of Surat, six from Cuttack have travel history of Ahmedabad, and four from Puri have travel history of West Bengal. All of them were are government quarantine centres.
Out of the three persons from Khurda, two are in government quarantine centres and are Surat returnees and the third is in home quarantine. Out of the 13 from Ganjam, 12 are Surat returnees are in government quarantine centres and one is in home quarantine.
Of the 31 from Jajpur, 30 are in government quarantine centre and have travel history of West Bengal while one is in home quarantine.
While Ganjam leads with 277 positive cases, Jajpur is second with 121 followed by Balasore (102), Khurda (56), Bhadrak (46), Kendrapara (26), Sundargarh (26), Puri (18), Angul (15), Mayurbhanj (11), Cuttack 10, Nayagarh (6), Jagatsinghpur (5), Boudh (4), Keonjhar (4), Balangir (2), Deogarh (2), Jharsuguda (2), Kalahandi (2), Dhenkanal (1) and Koraput (1).
