New Delhi: The Grammy winners this year includes Indian composer Ricky Kej, who won his second Grammy.
Kej received the award along with rock legend Stewart Copeland, drummer for The Police. They won the Best New Age Album for Divine Tides.
Divine Tides has nine songs and eight music videos, shot around the world, including the Himalayas.
“So grateful to have won the Grammy Award for our album Divine Tides. Absolutely love this living-legend standing next to me — Stewart Copeland. Love all of you too! This is my 2nd Grammy Award and Stewart’s 6th,” he wrote on Instagram.
Born in the US, Kej now lives in Bengaluru.
He won his first Grammy for his album Winds of Samsara in 2015.
Like every year, AR Rahman also attended the event.
