Bhubaneswar: The BJD is leading in 14 of 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, according to the latest trends available. Anubhav Mohanty is ahead of Baijayant Panda in Kendrapara, which had turned into a prestige issue for the regional party.
The other seats where the party is ahead of its rivals include Berhampur, Kendrapara, Kandhamal, Nabrangpur, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Aska, Bargarh and Koraput.
BJP’s Sambit Patra is leading in Puri, the other seat that had grabbed headlines with the national spokesperson of the saffron party challenging the three-time MP Pinaki Mishra, who is seeking re-election.
The six other seats in which the Lotus party is leading are Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Balangir, Sundargarh, Kalahandi and Sambalpur seats.
