Mumbai: After reports of Bharti Singh being dropped from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ (TKSS) became viral, comedian Krushna Abhishek has stepped forward to clear the air.

In an interview with Times Of India, Krushna firmly stated that Bharti is still a part of the show. He also said that the entire team of TKSS is with Bharti, including host Kapil Sharma.

“I haven’t heard of any such discussion or development from the channel’s end. No such decision has been taken by the channel. Even if something like this happens, I will support Bharti. She should get back to work. Jo ho gaya woh ho gaya (whatever has happened, has happened). We stand by Bharti and both Kapil (Sharma) and I are with her. She has my unconditional support,” Krushna told the Times of India.

Krushna also said that he is proud to call Bharti as his sister as the latter always stood with him through the ups and downs in life.

He went on to say that the team of TKSS is upset with comedian Raju Srivastava for his negative comments about Bharti post her arrest in the drug case.

“Raju Srivastava ne toh bohot hi bakwaas kee hai. What he said was shocking. Usne lifetime ke liye relationship kharaab kar liya hai sabke saath. Poori team hamaari naraaz hai usse for the comment he made (Team ‘TKSS’ is very upset with him),” said Krushna.

The Kapil Sharma Show started trending on social media platforms ever since Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s arrest in the drug case.

Earlier, Bharti’s co-worker Kiku Sharda had also denied reports of Bharti being dropped out of the show.

“I haven’t heard of any talk of her not being a part of the show. She just wasn’t there yesterday at the shoot and that’s about it,” Kiku had said.
