Berhampur: The lady tahasildar of Kukudakhandi in Ganjam district showed her human face by extending a helping hand to a pregnant woman.
Ipsita Priyadarshini Mishra spotted the lady near Guruntha Shiv temple around 9 pm on Sunday. Realizing that she needed immediate medical attention, the tahasildar arranged an ambulance as soon as possible and, along with a local Asha worker, took the pregnant woman to the hospital.
According to hospital sources, the pregnant woman is stable, thanks to Ipsita’s timely intervention.
