Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has been summoned by Lokayukta Police for questioning in the alleged MUDA land scam case on November 6.
“Yes, Mysore Lokayukta has issued a notice regarding MUDA. I will go to Mysore Lokayukta on 6th November,” Siddaramaiah told reporters.
PTI quoted a Lokayukta official as saying that the CM has been asked to appear on Wednesday morning.
The Lokayukta questioned the CM’s wife Parvathi B M, who is also an accused in the case, 10 days ago.
Siddaramaiah, his wife, brother-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy and Devaraju — from whom Swamy had purchased a plot of land and gifted to Parvathi – are among those named in the FIR registered by Mysuru-located Lokayukta police on September 27.
