Bhubaneswar: The 2023 batch of students at SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), faculty of legal studies of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, received their degrees at a special graduation ceremony here on Thursday.
Students who had completed LLM, LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) courses received their certificates from SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda.
Prof. Nanda, who administered the oath to graduating students, urged them to serve the society with dedication and commitment.
Stating that SNIL had been ranked 8th-best law school in the country by NIRF while the university was placed 15th nationally, Prof. Nanda said the legal profession was no longer limited to court rooms and had pervaded several spheres, providing the graduates ample opportunity to serve the people.
Senior professor Prabir Kumar Patnaik welcomed the students while Dean of the institute Prof. S.A.K. Azad presented the report.
