Kalahandi: A leopard mauled a cow to death at Gunduri village under Lanjigarh block in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Saturday night.
According to sources, the leopard entered a cattle-shed of one of the villagers and mauled a cow to death. The cow was tied to a pole in the shed.
The owner of the cow and locals spotted the carcass on Sunday morning.
On being informed, the forest department officials reached the spot and started investigation.
