Leopard Skin Seized In Odisha’s Deogarh, Two Held

Deogarh: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch on Monday seized a leopard skin and arrested two persons. The arrested are Somanath Patra and Rajib Lochan Patra of Salohi village.

Acting on a tip-off, the STF personnel raided Bonik Chhak in Barkote of the district and seized the leopard skin from the possession of the accused.

Police later arrested the duo and forwarded them to SDJM court in Deogarh.

The seized skin will be sent to Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun for test, said the STF officials.
