Less Than 50 Fresh COVID-19 Cases In Bhubaneswar For 4th Day; Toll Mounts To 204

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in the Odisha capital remained below 50 for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday with 43 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The city had seen 46, 42, 46 new infections in the last three days.

Among the new cases, 12 are quarantine and 31 local contacts.

While Soubhagya Nagar has 4 cases, Patia has 3 cases followed by 2 each from Baramunda, Jayadev ViharBhimtangi, Kalinga Nagar, Bomikhal, Niladri Vihar and Old Town and one each from Shailashree Vihar, Jharpada, BJB Nagar, Tankapani Road, Nayapalli, Saheed Nagar, Pokhariput, Chandrasekharpur, Garage Chhak and IRC Village.

The fresh infections have pushed the total to 30461.

The last 24 hours also saw two COVID-19 deaths and 57 more patients getting cured of the deadly disease.

With 204 deaths and 29660 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has now 576 active cases.
