Lighting Arrangement To Beautify Puri Jagannath Temple Soon
Puri: A technical team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) visited the Jagannath temple here on Tuesday to identify the places where lighting arrangements can be made to illuminate the temple.
The ASI team’s visit comes following a decision of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to light up the main temple.
Special arrangements will be made for lighting of the upper portion of the temple like Dwaja, Dadhi Nauti, Aanla Bedha and the main temple with different colours that can be seen by the people living within 15 km radius of the temple.
Apart from this, elaborate lighting arrangements will be made at the Bhoga Mandap, Nata Mandap, Beharana Dwara, Sata Pahacha Dwara and four gates of the temple.
