Loan Fraud Case: Chanda Kochhar, Husband Sent To 3-Day CBI Custody

New Delhi: A special court on Saturday remanded former ICICI Bank CEO and MD Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody till Monday.

The Kochhar couple was arrested by CBI on Friday in a case of alleged cheating and irregularities in loans sanctioned by the bank to Videocon Group of companies.

Chanda and Deepak were produced before the special CBI court for remand proceedings. The two are accused Nos 4 and 5 as per the FIR, the CBI lawyer said.
