Lockdown 2.0: What Will Still Remain Closed After April 20

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday decided to partially lift the lockdown measures for certain sectors from April 20. While agriculture, IT & ITes (50 per cent capacity), e-commerce, courier, banks, hotels that are accomodating stranded people, movement of non-essential cargo, construction and a few more services will be allowed, here’s a list of things that will remain closed:

  1. Trains, flights, public transportation services like bus, metro rail, autorickshaw, etc.
  2. Taxi and cab aggregators.
  3. Educational institutions.
  4. Religious places. In case of funerals, not more than 20 people will be allowed.
  5. All social, political, entertainment, cultural, academic activities.
  6. Cinema halls, malls, shopping complexes, gyms, sports complexes, swimming pools, bars will remain closed till May 3.
  7. Liquor, gutka and tobacco stores.
