Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday allowed the plying of government and private buses in districts that have been declared as green zone.
Briefing mediapersons, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradip Jena said that buses will ply with passengers up to 50 per cent of seating capacity.
Thsee buses will have to operate exclusively within green zones, without passing through any red zone or orange zone areas.
He said that apart from Covid-19 regulations, plying of buses within green zones will be subject to fulfilling the normal requirements such as valid route permit, registration certificate, fitness certificate, pollution under control (PUC) certificate, insurance etc.
