Lockdown 3.0: States Can Consider Home Delivery Of Liquor, Says SC
New Delhi: The Supreme Court orally observed on Friday that the States must consider selling liquor via home delivery and/or consider indirect sales during the lockdown.
A bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, Sanjay Kishan Kaul and BR Gavai made this remark while hearing a petition challenging the opening of liquor shops by several state governments, according to a report by Live Law.

The bench observed that passing orders on the plea was not feasible under Article 32 and added that the States must snsure social distancing while selling liquor by considering other viable options.
