Mumbai: There are long queues at Terminal 2 of Mumbai Airport following a computer system crash. Check-ins are delayed, potentially upsetting the flight takeoff schedule too, sources said, NDTV reported. One of two terminals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, T2 mostly deals with international flights but is also for domestic routes.
“Passengers are forced to wait for baggage drop since close to an hour,” reported Mirror Now just before 6 pm.
A number of Twitter users shared photos of the crowds. Air India replied to one of them, saying. “Our team is working diligently to minimize the inconvenience.”
The sheer timing of you placing your bag for check in and all systems going down at that exact moment at Mumbai Airport @CSMIA_Official! 😶
Complete standstill and this is how we begin the weekend!
