FTI offers a number of postgraduate diploma courses namely in direction and screenplay writing, art direction, production design, sound recording and design, editing and cinematography and two-year courses in acting. It also offers a one-year postgraduate diploma programme in Feature Film Screenplay Writing. The institute extends postgraduate certificate programmes in direction, sound recording and TV engineering, electronic cinematography and video editing.
