New Delhi: With love birds celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday, the Indira Gandhi International Airport too got into the act by taking to social media to express its love for Indigo, Air India and Vistara airlines.
The airport took Twitter by storm by a heartfelt message for IndiGo: “Hey @IndiGo6E, promise me you’ll never run away from my runway!” It also added the hashtag #ValentinesDay2020 to its tweet.
To this, IndiGo’s official handle replied, “Oh darling, your love brings me back on-time, every time!”
It didn’t end here though. The airport’s official handle further tweeted, “My love, @IndiGo6e, we have so many future planes together!”
“@delhiairport whenever you say that ‘kuch kuch hota hai’”, pat came the reply from the airlines.
The airport added, “I’m just plane crazy about you.”
“@delhiairport I know your love affair goes beyond one!” snapped the airlines.
And there was certainly some truth in it as the airport next tweeted its love for Air India: “Hey @airindiain, you’ll always be my love at first flight!”
Air India replied,“@delhiairport It feels great to have a special place in your hub.”
Next, the airport homed in on Vistara. It tweeted, “Hey @airvistara, its valentines day, want to continue flying higher with us?”
Vistar replied, “@DelhiAirport, cheesy but landed well, just like all our aircraft thanks to you”
The exchange of ‘romantic’ tweets between the airport and the airlines certainly made V-Day an entertaining affair for their followers.
