To lure people back to regional music, singer Biraj Rath has come up with another single music video ‘Ashara Akasha’. Produced by S3 Movies in association with United Misfits, the video was digitally released by Odia One.
The song has been penned by his brother Binay Krishna Rath. Dedicated to young people who often find it difficult to handle love and career together, it is all about the intensity of love that requires a lot of patience.
The sizzling on-chemistry between actress-anchor Elli Padhi and newcomer Saanu, who feature in the video, makes it an enjoyable watch.
“Almost three years back, Biraj had made me hear the song and he later offered me the female lead in the music video. I had started my career with music albums and after 13 years, I enjoyed doing the same all over again,” said Elli, who is currently working in a Malyalam film. She is also conducting a popular show on a television channel.
The video was mostly shot in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Biraj’s new version of ‘He Phaguna Tume…’, which was a tribute to legendary musician Akshaya Mohanty, had received accolades from both music lovers and critics.
