Sushant’s family had also expressed displeasure over the pace of the probe.
Days later, CBI spokesperson RK Gaur said the agency is yet to reach any conclusion in the death case and all aspects are under investigation.
Following bickering between Maharashtra and Bihar governments over the actor’s death, the Supreme Court had directed the central agency to probe the case.
After taking over the investigation into the alleged abetment to suicide case filed by the actor’s father KK Singh in Patna on August 21, the CBI questioned Rhea Chakroborty, her brother Showik, Sushant’s cook Neeraj Singh, his roommate Siddharth Pitani and his former manager Samuel Miranda. It also sought assistance from All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) to look into the autopsy files related to the actor’s death.
