Mahindra To Remove Side-Facing Rear Seats From Thar

Bhubaneswar: Mahindra’s new sensation Thar will most likely be shipped without the side-facing rear seats option, the reason being safety rating.

Global NCAP has given it 4 star rating and it was the top end that was chosen as Mahindra had informed they wouldn’t sell the side-seat version.

NCAP has reportedly said that if rear seats are added, the 4-star rating will be removed.
