Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ co-star Mahira Khan sparked speculation over a second instalment of the movie by sporting a T-shirt with King Khan’s photo printed on it.
Mahira took to her Instagram handle on Monday and shared a picture of herself, rocking the blue-shirt, while posing near the door of her vanity van.
Adding the song ‘Zaalima’ from ‘Raees’ in the background, she wrote, “Working on a Sunday… brought him along to make it a fun day.”
However, Mahira’s fangirl post left netizens divided; while some speculated that she was hinting towards the making of Raees 2, while others criticized her for being a Pakistani actress and liking a Bollywood actor.
One comment read, “That tee and song… always an SRK fangirl!”
Another user wrote, “That T-shirt… this is one of the coolest SRK pictures from his prime days.”
Another commented, “Us, Mahira, us! SRK forever.”
A fan wrote, “Manifesting Raees 2.”
On the other hand, criticising her admiration for SRK, one user commented, “Move over, Shah Rukh Khan—Mahira, please.”
Another wrote, “She is still not over the Raees phobia.”
Another user added, “You are already one of Pakistan’s biggest stars. Such fangirling over a Bollywood actor doesn’t suit you.”
