A large explosion ripped through three houses in Baltimore of Maryland state in the USA on Monday, killing one person and reportedly leaving many others, including children, trapped.
“A major explosion with multiple people trapped including children, just after 10 am local time,” the Baltimore Firefighters union tweeted.
(3) patients, all critical have been rescued by Firefighters. Special Rescue Operations units have arrived and are beginning to search and rescue the other patients.

One person was confirmed to have been dead, while three have been rescued by firefighters in critical condition. A full-scale search is on to look for other survivors.
It was reported that rescuers are communicating with one person trapped under the rubble.
The exact cause of the blast was not yet known, but it is believed to be related to gas.
