Massive fire engulfed Mahanagar Telephone Nigam LTD (MTNL) building in Mumbai’s Bandra West on Monday. People on the upper floors of the 10-storey building are trapped, according to media reports.
The fire reportedly started in the 3rd and the 4th floor of the building. No injuries have been reported so far.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade has deployed 14 fire trucks, a quick response vehicle, an ambulance and six water tankers at the spot.
The intensity of the fire was marked as Level 2 at the beginning. It was upped to Level 3 at 3 45pm and Level 4 at 4 05pm.
