Cuttack: The Millenium City again reported the highest 41 new COVID-19 cases in Odisha’s Cuttack district, which saw another 60 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The remaining 29 cases are from Badamba (10), Narsinghpur (4), Barang (3) and Athagarh (2).
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 27 of the 41 new patients in the city are from home quarantine, 12 from institutional quarantine while two are local contact cases.
All home quarantine cases are linked with earlier COVID-19 patients. Among them, 15 cases are from Dewan Bazaar while five cases have been detected in the containment zones of Khatbin Sahi, Sankarpur and Old Rausapatna.
Another three patients/attendants of SCB Medical College and Hospital have tested positive for the virus. Two Corona Warriors have also been infected.

With these new cases, the COVID-19 tally of Cuttack city has gone up to 777. The virus has so far claimed 10 lives in the city.
