Islamabad: Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Pakistani education activist Malala Yousufzai took to twitter to celebrate her recent graduation from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
“Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what”s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep,” she tweeted.

On June 8, when she participated in the YouTube special, #DearClassof2020, Malala first shared the news of her graduation. She had shared then that she still had “four more exams to go”, according to an India Today report.
In one of the images that she tweeted, Malala can be seen covered in confetti, cake, and colours. As for the second picture, she can be seen cutting the cake with her father, mother, and brothers by her side.
Soon after her announcement, her well-wishers congratulated her for the feat on the microblogging site. At the time of writing this article, her tweet had managed to garner over 204.6k likes and 23.8k retweets, along with 4.6k comments from people congratulating her.
Reportedly, Malala rose to world fame after she survived a gunshot wound to her head from Islamic extremists who were against her fight for women’s right to education.
