Berhampur: A old man was arrested for allegedly throwing stones inside a court in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday.
As per reports, the man, identified as Subash Chandra Sahu of Badakundanda village under Bhanjanagar police station, went to the SDJM Court at Chhatrapur in the district and entered a hall meant for the complainants and lawyers.
Subahs took out stones he had carried inside a bag and started pelting those aiming at computers and furniture inside the hall.
A computer and some chairs were damaged in the stone pelting by Subash. Luckily, some lawyers and court employees managed to escape and informed the police.
A team from Chhatrapur police station rushed to the court and arrested Subash from the hall. The police also collected the stones hurled by Subash and detained him in the police station for questioning.
