Sonepur: A woman was critically injured after allegedly being attacked by her husband at Mahulpali village under Dunguripali police limits of Sonepur on Friday night.
Sources said Rasika Thapa attacked his wife Mamata Thapa with a sharp weapon while she was asleep. The accused then fled from the spot.

Mamata sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to Dunguripali Community Health Centre. On being informed, the police reached the spot and began investigations. A case has been registered and they are on the lookout for the husband.
