Rayagada: A 38-year-old man reportedly attempted suicide by consuming phenyl at a quarantine centre near the GCD High School here on Wednesday.
The man, identified as Bhupi Patra, was rushed to the district headquarter hospital. His condition was stated to be stable after treatment.
A native of Palsora in Ganjam district, he was sent to the quarantine centre after he arriving in the district on April 7 amid the state government’s directive for isolating such cases.
