Puri: A man died after he was allegedly administered a wrong injection by a pharmacist at Community Health Centre (CHC), Delanga, in Odisha’s Puri district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Kabindra Behera. He was a native of Ratapada village under Delanga block in the district.

According to sources, Behera had gone to the CHC for treatment of his neck pain. While the doctor was attending to patients at the OPD, the pharmacist gave him an injection to relieve him of the pain. He, however, died soon after being administered the injection.
His family members created ruckus at the hospital, alleging that wrong injection administered by the pharmacist led to his death.
