Nikhil Pushparaj Khanna died after being punched in the face by his wife, Renuka Nikhil Khanna
The couple, married for six years, had a heated argument on Friday afternoon that escalated into a physical confrontation. Apparently, Renuka was furious with her husband for not keeping his promise and for not buying her a gift. What’s more, he did not allow her to visit Delhi to celebrate her birthday with her relatives earlier, ANI reported.
In a fit of anger, Renuka punched Nikhil in the face, causing him to lose consciousness. Nikhil’s teeth and nose were broken and he started bleeding heavily. Upon discovering his condition, family members rushed him to a private hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
Renuka has been arrested and a case has been registered against her under section 302 of IPC.
