Bhubaneswar: A man was arrested in Bhubaneswar for allegedly duping a youth, Ajit Tripathy, of Rs 1.30 lakh on the pretext of a job offer.
The accused, identified as Balabhadra Mishra (38) of Matiasahi in Angul district, had identified himself as director of US-based Bloomberg Television.
According to Airport Police, the accused had asked the youth to pay Rs 1.30 lakh towards registration and HR fees. On receiving the f
ull amount, he became incommunicado.
On basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, a probe was initiated and Mishra was later nabbed. A mobile phone and some important documents were seized from his possession.

In February, the Commissionerate Police had busted a major recruitment racket being run by a couple at Dhauli, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
