Bhubaneswar: A man was arrested in Bhubaneswar for allegedly duping a youth, Ajit Tripathy, of Rs 1.30 lakh on the pretext of a job offer.
The accused, identified as Balabhadra Mishra (38) of Matiasahi in Angul district, had identified himself as director of US-based Bloomberg Television.
According to Airport Police, the accused had asked the youth to pay Rs 1.30 lakh towards registration and HR fees. On receiving the full amount, he became incommunicado.
On basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, a probe was initiated and Mishra was later nabbed. A mobile phone and some important documents were seized from his possession.

In February, the Commissionerate Police had busted a major recruitment racket being run by a couple at Dhauli, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
