Gajapati: A man was arrested on charges of duping a Titli-affected person, Lochan Dalai, at Manikpur village under Mohana block in Gajapati. The accused, identified as K Pramod Kumar Dora, is a Co-ordinator at Chandiput Customer Service Centre. As per the complaint, Dora took away the ATM card and bank passbook of the beneficiary and later withdrew the compensation amount of Rs 1.19 lakh from his account. Dalai’s daughter found that money was withdrawn from her father’s account and informed the matter to local Tehsildar and BDO, following which a complaint was lodged against Dora at Mohana police station.
