Man Loses Both Legs After Falling From Running Train In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A man lost both legs while trying to get down from a running train in Odisha’s Balasore district on Tuesday.

As per reports, the man, identified as Manoj Kumar Nayak, was supposed to get down at Balasore station. But he changed his decision due to some reasons and wanted to de-board at the Soro railway station.

As Soro station approached, Manoj got down from the train though it had not stopped. Unfortunately, he slipped and his legs fell below the train’s carriage.

The loco pilot stopped the train immediately and local people pulled critically injured Manoj. But both his legs were badly crushed by the train.

They rushed him to the local hospital. The hospital sources said Manoj’s both legs would have to be amputated to save his life.
