As many as 72 members have been associated with the making of this one-of-its-kind music film.
The video essays a love story developed in the back drop of a ghastly environment. Watching Manoj Mishra as a devil involved in gruesome murder and rape haunts the viewer for a long time.
‘’Goolam was a dream project and I am happy for the opportunity to prove my talent. The scope to experiment with different roles in films is often limited. I hope more creative projects come up in the near future in Odisha,” said Mishra who has worked in Mumbai and the South industry too.
Talking about the movie, Pattnaik said, “We wanted to do something different and bring about a change in the music industry. When I conceived the idea, I wanted appropriate lyrics. Finally, I penned the lyrics and scored the music for the song myself. The climax of the musical, in which the boy dies and the girl runs out has tugged at fans’ heartstrings.”
