Malkangiri: The fourth day of martyrs’ week of Maoists on Monday saw three villagers being kidnapped from Dandapadar village under Mathili police limits in Malkangiri district.
The armed rebels picked the trio from the village around 3am on the suspicion of being ‘police informers’, reports said.
Police suspect Chhattisgarh’s Darba division of Maoists to be behind the incident.
A massive search operation has been launched in the area to rescue the kidnapped villagers, a police officer informed.
