Marginal Rise In Daily COVID Infections In Odisha, 590 From Khurda; TPR 3.57%
Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported a marginal rise in COVID cases on Friday with 2806 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate stood at 3.57 per cent compared to 3.49 per cent the previous day with 2542 people were found infected.
Of the new infections, 1613 are from quarantine centres and 1193 local contact cases.
Khurda district reported the highest of 590 new cases, followed by Cuttack (441) and Jajpur (252)

With this, the COVID tally in the state has soared to 9,35,136 and among them, 27,429 are active cases.
On Thursday, the TPR was less than 5 per cent in 26 districts, Mayurbhanj had the highest positivity rate of 17.5 per cent.
