Berhampur: The marital discord between Tapaswini Dash and Dr Sumit Sahoo has taken a new turn.
Tapswini has again moved Berhampur SDJM Court on Monday as her husband Sumit has allegedly fled from the rented house where the two were staying after the SDJM’s order.
She told mediapersons that her husband did not turn up at the Family Court for counselling. “I am not aware of his whereabouts over the last four days and am meeting my ends at the arranged accommodation,” she said.
Tapaswini’s Counsel has again filed a fresh petition in the Court praying to stay in her husband’s own house, instead of a rented accommodation.
The two were staying at the guest house of a sugar mill at Aska after the Berhampur SDJM, in its December 2 order, asked the couple to live together for a week.
Sahoo, who is posted as a doctor at a primary health centre, left for hospital to join his duty on December December 10 and did not return.
The court asked the local police to facilitate their secure stay and barred any third person from contacting them. The court also asked a police officer to submit a report on the couple’s stay together.
Tapaswini claimed that Sumit’s whereabouts are not known to her and he could not be contacted on phone. Following this, Tapaswini moved SDJM Court once again alleging contempt of Court.
