Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration on Saturday issued a directive making rapid antigen test mandatory for family members during marriage ceremonies.
District collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said that all family members must undergo the antigen test. In case of any family member testing positive for COVID-19, permission will not be given for the marriage ceremony.
In its earlier guidelines, the district administration had said that permission for marriage ceremony must be taken from the local administration and there will be no congregation of more than 50 people at the event.
