Massive Fire: Ranbir Kapoor-Starrer Luv Ranjan Film Studio Devastated

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at Chitrakoot Studio, located in Andheri West, on Friday.

It’s at this studio where Luv Ranjan has been shooting his upcoming film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

Social media was flooded with video clips and pictures of the raging fire. Watch how the smoke billowed from the studio in this clip shared on Twitter:


A song sequence featuring the leading stars was due to be shot here. Fortunately, Friday happened to be an off day, India Today reported quoting sources.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The fire broke out around 4.30 pm and 10 fire bridges were rushed to the spot.

As thick smoke filled the air in the vicinity, traffic police cordoned off the area and closed the road from both ends.

The fire was not fully under control at 6.30 pm.
