Mumbai: Wedding bells are ringing in the Tendulkar household as Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, is preparing to tie the knot with his fiancée, Saaniya Chandhok, on March 5.
According to multiple reports, the couple, who got engaged in a private ceremony in August 2025, will host an intimate celebration primarily in Mumbai. The festivities are set to commence on March 3, with the main ceremony following two days later. “The wedding festivities will begin on March 3 and will mostly be in Mumbai. Of course, it will be close friends and family only,” Times Entertainment reported quoting a source.
Saaniya Chandhok, an entrepreneur and founder of Mumbai-based pet grooming brand Mr Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, is the granddaughter of prominent businessman Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group, which owns ventures including the InterContinental Hotel and Brooklyn Creamery.
The engagement news first surfaced in August 2025 and was later confirmed by Sachin Tendulkar himself during a Reddit AMA session, where he expressed excitement about the new chapter in his son’s life. Arjun is a left-arm pacer who recently moved to the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL ahead of the 2026 season.
The Tendulkar family is yet to issue an official statement on the wedding details.
