Mumbai: Several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate Team India on their impressive T20 World Cup final victory. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan had an unusual take on the triumph.
Sharing pictures of the winning moment from the T20 World Cup final match from his television screen, Big B wrote on his X handle, “T 5679 – कहा था नहीं देखूँगा तो जीत जाएँगे ! हो गया (I said I wouldn’t watch, and they’d win! It happened)!”
Big B had earlier joked about bringing “bad luck” for India, mentioning that the team often loses when he watches their matches.
Reacting to Big B’s tweet, one wrote, “Great sacrifice sir, please continue!”

Team India dominated the T20 World Cup final, thrashing New Zealand by 96 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday night.
Congratulating the men in blue, Shah Rukh posted on X, “What a comprehensive victory!! Well done to our men in blue!!! You guys are champions, and watching you on the field has made us all very proud. Take a bow. Jai Hind!”
